Through facebook, I learned of a friend’s long-term homelessness. In reaction to his struggles, this work attempts to give voice to those who, upon first glance, seem to be doing well (after all, he’s on facebook!) yet when digging a bit deeper, are truly struggling. I learned that he is living in a tent in NYC and sleeping on the ground, surrounded by dirt.

A través de facebook, me enteré que un amigo no ha tenido un hogar desde hace mucho tiempo. En reacción a su lucha, esta obra intenta dar voz a aquellos que, a primera vista, parecen  estar haciendo bien (de pues de todo ¡él está en facebook!), pero al cavar un poco más, de verdad están luchando para sobrevivir. Terry vive en una tienda de campaña en la ciudad de Nueva York y duerme en el suelo, rodeado de tierra.
